The Gramophone is a Special Semi-Obstacle in Homescapes. To increase the volume of the music, match thrice next to it or use Power-ups nearby. It will then produce exactly 3 Notes. Pieces with Notes change color with each move you make. When possible, collect these Notes, as you will need them to complete the level.

Tips on Gramophone and Notes[]

  • Notes are always a Level Goal. They are necessary to collect when Gramophones are present.
  • Bombs and Rockets are the best way to collect Notes. Rainbow Balls can also clear multiple Notes at once.
  • Gramophones are indestructible: in Carpet/Notes Levels, the Gramaphone will be Carpeted. Gramophones will never have Tiles, Oil, or Water underneath them either.
  • In Carpet/Notes or Oil/Notes Levels, if Paper Planes didn't land on a Note, it will spread/clear directly without it.
  • You won't always need to focus on the Notes, because they may be automatically collected due to cascades.
